This mask has been in my collection since the late 1990's, when fellow DEVO collector Brian Applegate found 2 in a strange costume shop somewhere on the West coast of the USA. One of the masks is in Brian's collection, and one shown here is in the Devo-Obsesso archives.

This particular mask was loaned to DEVO for their 2004 and 2005 tour, which Mark wore during a few shows.

It's not an exact replica of the Booji Boy mask worn in DEVO's heyday, but it was all we had. The other Booji masks fell prey to dry-rot in storage over the years.
