Early on the day of the show, the band & crew drove to The Morongo Casino from Los Angeles.

There was a big news story on a forest fire near Palm Springs, and some were concerned the show would be cancelled.

This photo shows a helicopter dropping flame retardant on the huge fires sweeping across the hills in Cabazon, CA.

This was directly across the street from the venue/hotel.
